Welcome

Last Updated on Monday, 08 February 2010 12:11

Whether you wish to come and see the ancient architecture, to attend a service and listen to our choir, to have a coffee, to learn or to attend a special event or exhibition, you are very welcome to come and visit us.

There is plenty to see in and around the Cathedral and to help you get the most from your visit there are volunteer welcomers and guides who are often available during the day to answer any queries you may have and to give personal guided tours of the Cathedral.

If you are making a special journey, it is recommended that you telephone the Cathedral Office in advance to check that there are no special services that might curtail your visit.

Admission is free

All we ask is that you consider leaving a voluntary donation to help support the running costs of the Cathedral.
Our volunteer Welcomers are usually available between 10am and 4pm to assist you.  Outside of these hours, or if the desk is unoccupied, one of our Verging team will be happy to help you.

You are welcome to take photographs, providing that they are for your own personal use.

Accessibility
